Apple pie with caramel
The combination of apple and caramel is great. What's more, in this recipe I tried a slightly more nutritious version of dessert. Crispy crust, a decent dose of apples, crumble, and complemented with coconut milk caramel.

Directions
Mix the ingredients for the crust and create the dough. Line a mould (diameter 22) with baking paper. Press the dough into the bottom and sides of the mould. Pre-bake in the oven at 180 degrees for approximately 10 minutes.
Cut the apples into cubes. Mix with honey and cinnamon and simmer with a little water until softened. Let the soft apples cool slightly. Then mix with pudding powder and layer on the crust.
In a bowl, we mix the ingredients for the sprinkling. The mass should be more crumbly. We layer it on the apple filling and bake it in the oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.
Cook the coconut milk with coconut sugar while stirring for approximately 25-30 minutes until it thickens. Add oil and stir again. Finally, add a pinch of salt. Pour the caramel over a slightly cooled cake.
We put the cake in the fridge where we let it cool down completely. 😊
