Best Recipe for Basic Moist Banana Muffins
Delicious and moist banana muffins that are perfect for breakfast or as a tasty snack. These muffins are incredibly easy to make and are bursting with the natural taste of ripe bananas.
Ingredients
- 11⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3⁄4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 3⁄4 Cup crystal sugar
- 1 large Egg
- 0.3 Cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1⁄2 Cup walnuts, chopped (optional)

Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a muffin tray with paper liners.
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon. Set aside.
A large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Add the granulated sugar, egg, butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
If desired, gently fold in the chopped walnuts.
Using a spoon or an ice cream scoop, divide batter evenly into the muffin liners, each one about ¾ full.
Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
Once done, remove from the oven aallow them to cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
