Caramel liqueur
Recipe for a delicious caramel liqueur that you can enjoy with friends.
Ingredients
- 1 litres vodka
- 350 grams White sugar
- 1 a piece vanilla pod
- 150 ml whipping cream
- 1⁄2 kl Salts

Start by putting the sugar in a saucepan and slowly dissolving it over a low heat.
When the sugar is completely dissolved and has a beautiful golden brown colour, add the whipped cream. Stir gently.
Cut the vanilla pod lengthwise and scatter the seeds. Together with the pod, add them to the caramel. Then add the salt.
Then, when the mixture is completely blended and smooth, pour in the vodka. Stir everything well and remove from the heat.
Allow to cool completely and then pour into the bottle. Seal and store in a dark, cool place for two weeks to allow the liqueur to mature. It is important to wait until the caramel has completely dissolved and the liqueur has acquired its final flavour.
