Cauliflower Soup with Egg
This tasty and nutritious soup is ideal for cold winter days. You can also prepare it as a quick lunch meal.
Ingredients
Main ingredients
- 1 pcs Medium sized cauliflower
- 2 pcs onion
- 2 pcs cloves of garlic
- 2 l water
- 1 spoon butter
- 2 pcs Eggs
- 150 ml cooking cream
Spices and seasonings
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions
First, clean the cauliflower and divide it into smaller florets.
Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic cloves.
Melt the butter in a pan and add chopped onion and garlic. Saute over medium heat until the onion begins to turn golden brown.
Add the cauliflower to the pan and sauté it with the onion and garlic for about 5 minutes.
Then add water, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
If the water boils, reduce the temperature to a minimum and cook until soft.
When the cauliflower is soft, add cream and a beaten egg to the soup. Let everything simmer together for a while longer.
