Cheese and cottage cheese sticks

I experimented and experimented a lot until, after countless attempts, I finally found the perfect ratio of ingredients in a cheese curd bar that I felt was just right. The bars made from it are just juicy enough and very tasty. My whole family goes crazy for it, especially the kids are a big favourite.

Directions

40 min.
1. Step

Mix the cottage cheese with the flour and salt. I then add the grated ementhal cheese. I mix the egg well into the mixture. It is worth noting here that the more you mix it, the more succulent the final product will be. The mixture is refrigerated for at least half an hour, but ideally for 1 hour. To make the dough easy to shape, it is important to let it rest in the fridge.

2. Step

I form the prepared dough into bars or other shapes and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. It is important not to place the bars close together, as they will grow during baking! Preheat the oven and bake at 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes until nice and golden brown.
