Chocolate cake without eggs

This eggless chocolate cake is one of my favorite recipes. It's perfect for people with egg allergies or those who choose to follow a vegan diet.

  • 250 g Plain flour Added to
  • 200 g sugar Added to
  • 40 g cocoa Added to
  • 2 kl baking powder Added to
  • 12 kl Tea Soda Bicarbs Added to
  • pinch of salt Added to
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Added to
  • 80 ml Oils Added to
  • 1 spoon Apple cider vinegar Added to
  • 240 ml Waters Added to
  • Chocolate for pouring Added to

1. Step

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease a baking tin (20 cm in diameter) with oil and sprinkle with flour.

2. Step

In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients - flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

3. Step

In another bowl, mix the liquid ingredients - oil, vanilla extract, vinegar and water.

4. Step

Then add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix everything well. Remember that the batter doesn't have to be completely smooth, tiny lumps are fine and will dissolve when baked.

5. Step

Pour the finished batter into the prepared tin and bake in the oven for 60 minutes.

6. Step

Let the cake cool after baking and drizzle with melted chocolate before serving.
