Chocolate cherry cake
Recipe for a perfect chocolate-cherry cake that combines the taste of classic sponge cake with chocolate and cherries.
Ingredients
- 6 pcs Eggs
- 180 g sugar
- 200 g Semi-coarse flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 500 g cherry
- 50 g chocolate
- 2 tablespoon cocoa
- 5 tablespoon oil

Directions
Start by greasing and lining a baking tin. I use a classic round mould with a diameter of 26 cm, but you can use whatever you have on hand.
Beat the eggs with the sugar until foamy.
Gradually add flour mixed with baking powder and oil to the beaten foam. It is important to add the flour in small batches at this point, stirring constantly so that the mixture remains airy. Add the cocoa powder.
Break the chocolate into small pieces and mix into the batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and place the sour cherries on top.
Bake the chocolate-cherry cake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 45 minutes.
