Delicious apple pie
This apple pie is one of my favorite desserts I've ever made. I inherited the recipe from my grandmother, and over the years I researched and tweaked it until I achieved this result - a perfectly sweet and flavorful pie that is full of apple and cinnamon flavor.
Ingredients
- 4 a piece Big apples
- 225 g Smooth flour
- 225 g Icing sugar
- 225 g butter
- 4 a piece Big egg
- 1 Spoons cinnamon
- 1 Spoon baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 2 Spoons chopped nuts (optional)

Directions
Start by preheating your oven to 180 degrees. Then prepare a 26 cm round cake tin, grease it with butter and dust it with flour.
Clean the apples, peel them and cut them into thin slices or grate them.
Mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and a pinch of salt in a bowl. I often use nutty cinnamon if I have it on hand.
In another bowl, beat the butter with the eggs until creamy and then gradually add the flour mixture.
Finally, add the apples and nuts, if using, to the batter. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.
Pour the batter into the prepared tin and bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes.
Let the cake cool before removing it from the tin. Then sprinkle it with sugar.
