Delicious chocolate cream for filling
The chocolate filling cream is a real delight for chocolate lovers. I have made it a thousand times for various cakes and desserts in my kitchen. It is smooth, rich, creamy in texture and with a deep chocolate flavor, whether it is spread between the layers of a cake, used as a filling for donuts, or even as a topping for cookies, this cream never fails to please.

- 300 grams Of good quality dark chocolate.
- 200 ml Of whipping cream.
- 75 grams Sugar.
- 75 grams Of unsalted butter at room temperature.
- A pinch of salt.

To begin, break the chocolate into small pieces and place it in a heat-resistant bowl. Be sure to use excellent quality chocolate, as this is what will determine much of the flavor of your cream.
Then, in a small saucepan, heat the cream and sugar over medium heat until well blended and the sugar is completely dissolved. Do not allow the cream to boil, as this may ruin the smooth texture of the cream.
Pour the hot cream over the chocolate pieces. Let stand for a few minutes to soften the chocolate and then stir gently until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Here it is essential to be patient and not to stir desperately, so as to avoid the formation of bubbles in your cream.
Add the butter in pieces and the salt. Continue stirring until the butter is completely melted and the cream is smooth and shiny.
Let cool at room temperature or in the refrigerator if you need it to harden more quickly. This cream is ideal for filling a cake immediately or can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
