Delicious ColaCao sponge cake
The ColaCao sponge cake is a reinvention of the classic chocolate sponge cake, achieving a nostalgic flavor that reminds us of childhood snacks with a glass of milk and ColaCao. This sponge cake is spongy, tasty and with an irresistible aroma that will surely dazzle the sweet tooth in the house. Ingredients
- 250 grams Of ColaCao
- 180 grams of flour
- 160 grams sugar
- 4 Eggs
- 100 ml Of mild olive or sunflower oil
- 120 ml of milk
- 16 grams Of baking powder or baking powder
- 1 pinch Of salt

Preheat the oven to 180ºC and grease a cake pan. My recommendation is to use a silicone mold as it makes unmolding much easier.
Beat the eggs together with the sugar until frothy. A good trick is to beat for at least 5 minutes to get a fluffier texture.
Then add the oil and milk slowly while continuing to whisk. The mixture should be homogeneous.
Mix the flour, ColaCao, yeast and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add this dry mixture to the liquid mixture, whisking constantly to avoid lumps.
Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 40-45 minutes. Remember that each oven is different, so I recommend doing the toothpick test after 35 minutes to check if it is ready.
Let the cake cool in the mold before unmolding and it is ready to enjoy!
