Easy Classic Bacon and Egg Pastry Pie
The Easy Bacon and Egg Pie is perfect for meal-prep and a favorite breakfast for families. This dish combines the creamy taste of eggs and the smoky, rich flavor of bacon encased in a fluffy, crispy pastry. It’s surprisingly simple and quick to make - perfect for a hearty breakfast, a delightful brunch or an appetizing pot-luck dish.
Ingredients
- 5 large eggs
- 1 puff pastry sheet
- 8 slices of bacon
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon of milk
- Cooking spray or butter for greasing

Directions
Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F) and lightly grease a pie dish with cooking spray or butter.
If necessary, slightly roll out the puff pastry sheet to fit in your pie dish. Transfer it to the dish and gently press on the bottom and the sides.
Lay the bacon slices on the pastry, covering the entire bottom
Break the eggs over the bacon. Carefully distribute them around the pie to cover it evenly.
Season with salt and pepper as preferred and brush the edges of the pastry with a little milk for golden color.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until the pastry is well-puffed and golden and the eggs are cooked. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
