- 2 egg
- 9 g Instant Dry Yeast
- 60 g sugar
- 60 g butter
- 500 g All Purpose Flour
- 9 g salt
- 12 Dyed eggs
- 300 g warm milk

Combine warm milk, yeast, sugar, and eggs using a mixer.

Add the flour and the salt. Mix well.

Add the room-temperature butter and knead for 15 minutes at medium-low speed.

Shape the dough into a ball. Place it in a bowl. Cover with a clean kitchen cloth or plastic wrap. Leave in a warm place. Let it rise until it doubles in volume.

Transfer the dough to a floured surface. Knead for a bit and divide the dough into 12 portions. Shape each into a ball. Then, roll each ball with a rolling pin.

Braid each portion into a rope. Join the end to make a circle. Place a coloured raw egg on each piece of bread.

Place on a baking tray. Cover with plastic wrap or clean kitchen cloth and let proof for 30 to 45 minutes. Then, brush the bread with a beaten egg. Sprinkle with sugar.

Transfer to the preheated oven to 180°C and bake for 25 minutes. Remove and let cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes. Then, cover them with a clean kitchen cloth to keep them soft.
