1. Step

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.

2. Step

Stir yogurt, melted butter, warm milk, and beaten egg until the dough comes together.

3. Step

Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10-15 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.

4. Step

Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap, let rise in a place for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.

Preheat your oven to 260°C and place a baking sheet in the oven to heat up.

6. Step

Divide the dough into 6 pieces, and shape each piece out into ovals about 1/4 inch thick.

7. Step

If desired, sprinkle sesame or nigella seeds on top of the naan and press them lightly into the surface.

8. Step

Place the naan on the hot baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes, or lightly browned.

Brush the naan with melted butter before serving.
