- 1 pizza dough (bought or homemade)
- 1 Cup tomato sauce
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1 volume fresh basil leaves
- Olive oil, for drizzling
- Salt and pepper, to taste

1. Step
Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
2. Step
Roll out the pizza dough onto a floured surface to your desired thickness.

Transfer the rolled-out dough onto a sheet or pizza stone.

Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Lay the mozzarella slices on top of the sauce.

Tear the fresh basil over.

Drizzle a little olive oil over and season with salt and pepper to taste.
