Homemade Easy Sun Dried Tomato Pesto
This Sun Dried Tomato Pesto is an excellent sauce to jazz up any meal. Made with sundried tomatoes, fresh basil, parmesan, and pine nuts, this pesto is packed with a depth of flavor. It's an easy and quick recipe and leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for future use.
Ingredients
- 1 Cup of sun-dried tomatoes in oil
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 Cup of fresh Basil leaves
- 1⁄2 Cup of parmesan cheese
- 1⁄4 Cup of pine nuts
- 1⁄2 Cup of olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste

Directions
Drain the sun-dried tomatoes and set the oil aside.
In a food processor, combine the sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, basil leaves, parmesan cheese, and pine nuts. Process until roughly chopped.
While the food processor is running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil to create a smooth mixture.
Season with salt and pepper according to your taste.
Your sun-dried tomato pesto is now ready to be used. If desired, you can keep it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
