Homemade French "Pommes Anna" recipe

Ingredients
- 1 kg potato
- 100 g butter
- 100 g fresh cream
- 80 g Mustard seeds
- salt
- ground black pepper

Directions
Preheat the oven to 170° C.
Generously butter the casserole and its lid with butter.
Wipe the potatoes dry. Cut them into thin slices with a mandolin.
Assemble the casserole by placing the first layer of slices on top of each other, then a second layer in the other direction, adding salt and pepper and continuing in this way, alternating directions and seasoning every 2 layers.
Place the butter in pieces on top of the potatoes.
Close the casserole with the buttered lid and place it in the oven at 170°C for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Remove the lid and continue cooking for another 30 minutes.
Mix the crème fraîche and the grainy mustard. Serve on the side.
Add mustard sprouts for decoration.
