Homemade Healthy Muesli Bar Slice
Muesli bars are a healthy, protein-packed snack that are perfect for a quick energy boost on-the-go. Packed with oats, dried fruits (such as raisins, apricots, or cranberries), seeds, and sweetened with honey, they're simple to make and versatile for easy tailoring to individual tastes.
Ingredients
- 21⁄2 cups of muesli
- 1⁄2 Cup of honey
- 1⁄2 Cup of unsalted butter
- 1⁄2 Cup of mixed seeds (like sunflower and pumpkin seeds)
- 1 Cup of mixed dried fruit (like cherries, cranberries raisins and apricots)
- 1⁄4 Cup of dark brown sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350° F (175° C) and line a 9-inch square pan with baking paper.
In a large pan, melt the butter and honey over medium heat.
Once melted, add in the dark brown sugar and stir until it's fully dissolved.
Pour in the muesli, mixed seeds, mixed dried fruits, and vanilla extract, mix them well until they're all covered with the butter-honey mixture.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press it down firmly to ensure it sets flat and evenly.
Bake the muesli bars for 15-20 minutes until they're golden brown.
After baking, let the muesli slab cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and allow it to completely cool before cutting it into bars.
Once cooled, cut into 12 equal sized bars.
