Directions
Before you start, ensure you have all your ingredients measured and ready. This will make the process quicker and minimise mistakes.
First, crush the biscuits to a fine texture. You can either use a food processor, or put the biscuits in a sealable bag and crush them with a rolling pin. This will give your Milo Balls a lovely crunch.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed biscuits, 3 cups of Milo and desiccated coconut. Stir evenly. In this recipe, consistency is key, so make sure every biscuit crumb is well coated with Milo.
Gradually add the condensed milk, stirring as you pour. The mixture should come together into a firm, sticky mass. If the mixture is too dry, add some more condensed milk. If it’s too wet, adjust with a bit more Milo.
Shape the mixture into small balls with your hands, then roll them in the extra desiccated coconut. This can be a fun and interactive process, especially if you're doing it with kids.
Once all balls are formed, place them in the fridge for a few hours to firm up. They can be served chilled, enhancing their delicious taste and texture.
Remember, the beauty of home cooking is versatility. Feel free to experiment, perhaps by adding a few drops of vanilla extract or by rolling the balls in crushed nuts instead of coconut for variation.
