Place the baking flour in a bowl, add the baking powder and mix well. Add the flour to the dough and sieve it. Mix until the dough perfectly incorporates the flour. Add the apple filling and mix well.

Line the bottom of a baking tin with baking paper and spray the sides with release spray. Pour the sponge cake batter into the mould and spread it well. Decorate the surface with the reserved apple.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ºC for approximately 60 minutes. Remove from the oven and brush with apricot, peach or apple jam. Leave to cool for 10 minutes and remove from the mould.
