How to make Best Fried Seafood Basket

Ingredients
- 16 Prawns, deveined and tails intact
- 4 fish fillet
- 16 scallops
- 200 g Calamari rings
- 2 Cup cornflour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- 1 Cup vegetable oil
- Salt and fresh ground Black Pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Tartar sauce, for serving

1) Rinse the seafood under cold running water and pat dry with kitchen papers.
2) Season the fish fillets, prawns, calamari and scallops with salt and pepper.
3) Dredge the seafood separately in cornflour, then dip it in the beaten egg, ensuring each piece is fully covered.
4) Roll the seafood in breadcrumbs until well coated, shaking off the excess.
5) Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Deep fry the seafood in batches, or until golden brown and crispy. Drain on a paper towel.
6) Serve the seafood hot in a basket with tartar sauce and lemon wedges on the side for squeezing.
