Ingredients
- 1 Cup fresh sweet corn kernels
- 1⁄2 Cup all-purpose flour
- 1⁄4 Cup corn flour
- 1 Cup milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1⁄4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
- vegetable oil, for frying

Stir in the sweet corn and mix well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and beaten egg.
Pour the the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix until well combined.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
Drop spoonfuls of the corn mixture into the hot oil, spreading them slightly to form flat fritters.
