How to make Healthy Fruity Oats Bake
This healthy and easy-to-make Oats Bake is a perfect meal prep idea for breakfast or a wholesome snack. Ingredients
- 2 cups of Old-Fashioned Oats
- 1⁄2 Cup of Raw Nuts, mixed variety (such as almonds walnuts and pecans)
- 1⁄2 Cup of dried mixed fruits (like cranberries, blueberries or raisins)
- 0.3 Cup of Pure Maple Syrup
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 2 cups of Milk or Plant-Based Milk Alternative
- 1 large Egg
- 3 tbls of Salted Butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons of Vanilla Extract
- 1 Large Apple or Pear, cored and cut into chunks
- A pinch of salt
- Optional Spices: Cinnamon, Allspice or Nutmeg

Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
In a bowl, mix together the oats, nuts, dried fruit, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir well. Make sure all the oats are soaked.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Press down the chunks of fruit evenly into the oat mixture in the dish.
Bake in the oven for 35-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the oats have set.
Allow to cool slightly before serving. Can be enjoyed warm or cold.
