How to make Quick & Easy Stewed Apples

- 6 medium apples, peeled
- 1⁄4 Cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 Cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1⁄2 Cup water

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the sliced apples to the pan and stir to coat them evenly with butter.
Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon over the apples and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
Pour the water into the pan and bring the mixture to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer the apples for 20-25 minutes or until they are tender and the liquid has thickened to a syrupy consistency, stirring.
Remove the pan from heat and allow the stewed apples to cool slightly before serving.
