Lentil soup with cream
Sweet and creamy lentil soup that's perfect for lunch.

- 200 g red lentils
- 4 a piece carrots
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 a piece onion
- 200 ml cooking cream
- oil
- salt and pepper

1. Step
Rinse the lentils and put them in a saucepan with a little oil and fry them for about 5 minutes. This method keeps them softer and intensifies their flavour.
2. Step
Add the chopped onion and garlic cloves that we peeled and chopped before. Sauté until the onions are golden brown.
3. Step
Add the chopped carrots and cover with water so that all the ingredients are covered. Bring to the boil and then simmer over a low heat for about an hour.
4. Step
Then add the cream and blend everything with an immersion blender until smooth. At this stage it is advisable to season the soup with salt and pepper.
