Linzer cake
Christmas linzer cake, which is filled with jam.
Ingredients
- 330 grams Plain flour
- 200 grams butter
- 130 grams confectionery sugar
- 2 a piece Eggs
- Lemon zest from lemon
- 1 a piece vanilla sugar
- Marmalade for filling

Directions
Prepare the dough from the ingredients. Mix the flour, butter, sugar, eggs, lemon zest and vanilla sugar thoroughly and work into a dough.
On a floured board, roll out the top and bottom of the cake. Place the bottom in a greased tin and spread with jam. Transfer the top part of the dough to the cake. I personally like to divide the top of the cake into strips and arrange them in a lattice shape.
Bake the Linzer cake in a preheated oven at 180°C until golden, about 20 minutes.
