Oatmeal with raspberries

This oatmeal with raspberries is my favorite way to start the day energetically. I always prepare it when I feel I need an extra boost of energy. The raspberries add not only flavor, but also vitamins, and the oatmeal is a source of fiber that provides a long-lasting feeling of satiety.

Directions

15 min.
1. Step

Put the oatmeal in a warm pot, add the milk and stir until it boils. Just after it boils, reduce the heat and simmer the oatmeal for about 10 minutes - it's important to stir it often, as oatmeal likes to burn to the bottom of the pot.

2. Step

In the meantime, wash the raspberries if you are using fresh ones. If you have frozen ones, take them out of the freezer beforehand so they have time to thaw gently.

3. Step

When the oatmeal is ready, add honey to it. If you like, you can also add a pinch of cinnamon - I know from experience that this addition goes wonderfully with raspberries.
