Ingredients
- 1 glass finely chopped onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 glass sugar
- 1⁄2 glasses water

Sweat the onion and garlic over low heat until they are soft. Do not let them burn.
Add sugar and cook until the sugar dissolves.
Add water, reduce heat and cook for about 20 minutes, until the liquid has the consistency of syrup.

Store the syrup in the refrigerator and consume a teaspoon for a cold or cough.
