Pan Fried Crispy Lemon Garlic Asparagus

Ingredients
- 1 lb of fresh asparagus
- 3 tbls of olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- salt to taste
- Freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving

Directions
Wash the asparagus and trim off the tough bottom part of the stalks. It is usually brown or woody.
Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
The asparagus to the pan and toss until it's covered with oil.
Add garlic to the pan and continue tossing for about 5-7 minutes, until the asparagus is tender but still has a crisp bite.
Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Transfer the asparagus to a serving dish and squeeze a bit of fresh lemon juice over the top.
Serve immediately while hot.
