Red Wine Pear Dessert
A delicious and refreshing dessert with pears and cinnamon, ideal for the cooler seasons. It is easy to prepare and has a splendid taste that will be well received at any dinner party.

- 4 whole pears
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 TL cinnamon
- 200 ml red wine

Directions
For the red wine pear dessert, first peel and halve the pears. Remove the core and set the halves aside.
In a medium-sized pot, let the sugar caramelize over medium heat until it is golden brown.
Add cinnamon to the caramelized sugar and stir well.
Add the pears to the pot and cover them evenly with the cinnamon-sugar. Allow the pears to boil for a few minutes until they are soft, but still firm.
Add the red wine and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes until the wine is slightly reduced.
Serve the red wine pear dessert on plates, decorate with whipped cream and chopped almonds.
