Sun-Dried Tomatoes in Oil
Tasty and aromatic sun-dried tomatoes in oil make a great addition to any meal. Prepare them simply and quickly at home.
Ingredients
Tomatoes
- 500 g fresh tomatoes
- 2 ts salt
Oil
- 1 l olive oil
- 3 pcs garlic
- 1 twig rosemary
- 1 twig thyme

Preheat the oven to 100 degrees and wash the tomatoes.
Cut the tomatoes in half and sprinkle them with salt.
Spread the tomatoes on a baking sheet and put them in the oven for 2-3 hours.
In the meantime, prepare the oil. Put garlic cloves, a sprig of rosemary and thyme into a bottle and cover with olive oil.
When the tomatoes are done, let them cool down.
Then put the tomatoes into the bottle with oil.
Close the bottle and let it stand for at least 24 hours before consuming the dried tomatoes.
