Tomato Pasta
A quick recipe for tomato pasta, suitable for lunch or dinner.

Pasta
- 400 g pasta
Sauce
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pcs onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 800 g Canned tomatoes
- 1 ts sugar
- 1 ts salt
- 1 ts ground black pepper

1. Step
Peel the onion and garlic and chop finely.
2. Step
Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the onion. Sauté it until golden.
3. Step
Add garlic and sauté for another 2 minutes.
4. Step
Add canned tomatoes, sugar, salt, and pepper. Cook for 15-20 minutes.
5. Step
In the meantime, cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package. Drain them and let them drip off.

Blend the sauce (use a blender or immersion blender). If you like chunks of tomatoes in the sauce, you don't have to blend it.
7. Step
Stir the sauce with the pasta. Serve immediately.
