Torrada soup with beans and thyme recipe
Ingredients
- 1 mug Of dried black beans
- 5 mugs Of water
- 1 onion Grande
- 1 cdta of dried thyme
- 1 can Of whole tomatoes

Directions
First, soak the beans in water overnight. This process softens the beans and speeds up the cooking time. In addition, this method helps reduce sugars.
The next day, drain the beans and in a large pot, add the 5 cups of water along with the beans. Cook over medium-high heat until the beans are soft, which will take about 40 minutes.
While the beans are cooking, take another frying pan and preheat some olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic and sauté until golden brown and soft.
Once the beans are ready, add the onion with the garlic and also incorporate the thyme with the tomatoes.
Then, let the soup simmer for about 20 minutes more. This will allow the flavors to blend properly.
To give a different touch to this soup, you can toast some beans in the oven and then add them to each dish when serving.
