  • 1 Volume of kangkong (water spinach); leaves separated from the stems Added to

  • 1 pack of tamarind soup mix Added to
  • 8 cups of water Added to
  • Fish sauce, salt and pepper to taste Added to

1. Step

In a large pot, bring 8 cups of water to a boil.

2. Step

Add in the pork, tomatoes, and onions. Let it simmer until the meat is tender (around 40-50 minutes).

3. Step

Once the meat is tender, add the tamarind soup mix. Stir well to distribute the sour taste.

4. Step

Add the radish, long green peppers, okra, and string beans. Let it cook for around 5 minutes.

5. Step

Then add the kangkong. Cover the pot and turn off the heat. Let the residual heat cook the water spinach.

6. Step

Season with fish sauce, salt, and pepper according to your preference.

7. Step

Serve hot with rice on the side for a complete meal.
