Basic Chinese Chicken Stir Fry Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbls soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon maize starch
- 2 tbls vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 thumb ginger, grated
- salt and pepper to taste
- Steamed rice or noodles for serving

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch.
Heat the vegetable skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the bell peppers and onion. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
Add the minced and grated ginger to skillet and stir-fry for a minute.
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables. Stir well to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Serve Chicken Stir Fry over steamed rice or noodles and garnish with chopped green onions, if desired. Enjoy!
