Ingredients
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- salt and pepper
- 2 tbls olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Cup heavy cream
- 1⁄2 Cup pesto
- 1⁄2 Cup parmesan
- 500 gms Pasta of your choice
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Directions
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Add the chicken and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and slice it into strips. Set it aside.
In the same pan, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Add the heavy cream and pesto, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is creamy and smooth. If the sauce is too thick, add some pasta water to thin it out.
While making the sauce cook the pasta according to the package instructions until it is al dente. Drain the pasta and keep some pasta water aside.
Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss it until it is coated in the sauce.
Add the sliced chicken back into the pan and stir until it is heated through.
Serve the Creamy Chicken Pesto Pasta hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
