Crispy goose roasted whole

1. Step

Wash the goose thoroughly and pat dry inside and out. Salt and pepper the inside, then stuff with the peeled and quartered apple, onion and garlic.

2. Step

Place the goose in a baking pan of suitable size and sprinkle with rosemary and thyme.

3. Step

Bake the goose in a preheated oven at a low temperature (150 degrees) for about 2-2.5 hours. Every half hour, baste the goose with the drippings.

4. Step

When the meat is tender and the skin is nice and golden brown, remove from the oven and leave to rest for 15 minutes before serving.
