Easy Old-Fashioned Moist Banana Cake

- 11⁄2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 11⁄2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon of baking soda

- 3 ripe bananas
- 3⁄4 Cup of white sugar
- 1 stick of unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
- 1⁄2 Cup of buttermilk

Directions
Preheat your oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Grease and flour a 9 by 13-inch baking dish.
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and a pinch of salt.
In another bowl, mash the ripe bananas and then mix in the sugar, eggs, softened butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, alternating with the buttermilk. Stir the mixture until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean.
