Farmer's schnitzel grandma style
I got this recipe from my beloved grandma, who, as an accomplished cook, always prepared magical dishes in her small kitchen. The strong flavors and crispy breading of the BauernSchnitzel make this dish my absolute favorite. And the best thing about it is that it is so easy to prepare that it will also be a complete success in your kitchen.

Directions
To prepare the farmer's schnitzel, start by pounding the schnitzels. Make sure they are evenly thin to ensure even cooking. Season the schnitzel with salt and pepper.
Beat the egg in a bowl and have another bowl of breadcrumbs ready. Dip the cutlets first in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs. Make sure that the cutlets are completely covered in breadcrumbs.
Heat the rapeseed oil in the pan and fry the schnitzels until golden brown. This usually takes about 4 minutes on each side. Keep the heat medium-high to avoid burning.
While the schnitzels are frying, cut the potatoes, onions, mushrooms and bacon into small cubes. Fry them together in another pan until they are crispy. Then add the cream and let the mixture simmer until it has a creamy consistency.
Finally, place the escalopes on the plates, spread the bacon, mushroom and cream mixture on top and garnish with parsley.
Most importantly, enjoy your Bauernschnitzel with a smile and share it with people you love!
