Grilled Marinade Juicy Lamb Leg Steak
This juicy and savory lamb leg steak recipe is perfect for a special weekend dinner. The simple yet delicious marinade enhances the rich flavor of the lamb. Served with a side of roast tomatoes and asparagus for a satisfying, easy-to-cook meal that is sure to impress your guests.
Ingredients
- 4 Lamb leg steaks
- 4 cloves of garlic, peeled and minced
- 2 tbls of rosemary leaves
- 2 tbls of olive oil, extra for brushing
- Sea salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
- 4 large tomatoes, halved and deseeded
- 15 Pieces of asparagus, trimmed

Start by making your marinade. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, rosemary, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Brush the lamb leg steaks on both sides with the marinade. Cover and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or ideally overnight.
Preheat your grill to high heat.
Brush the halved tomatoes and asparagus with some olive oil, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Remove the steaks from the refrigerator and let them reach room temperature.
Grill the lamb steaks on direct heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your preferred cooking level.
At the same time, grill the tomatoes and asparagus for a few minutes until charred and tender.
Rest the steaks for about 5 minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
