Melt butter and fry rice on it. Add hot water, salt, and a bay leaf, and cook for 15 minutes.

Combine all the ingredients for the meat. Roll balls from it, flatten them into patties and fry them for 3 minutes on each side.

Fry the garlic, onion, and mushrooms on butter. Add salt and pepper, and toss a few times. Add flour, then saute for 2 minutes. Pour in chicken stock, soy sauce, ketchup, and cook till it thickens. Season some more if necessary.
