Directions
For the hearty mince with pointed cabbage recipe, first remove the stalk from the pointed cabbage and cut into fine strips. Minced meat should of course always be processed at room temperature, so take it out of the fridge in good time.
Finely dice the onions and garlic. This step should not be skipped, as it gives the dish the right flavor.
Heat the oil in a large pan. Add the mince to the pan and fry until crumbly.
Add the onions and garlic and sauté until they are translucent. The aroma of the sautéed onions and garlic is a sure sign that the mince has now reached the right cooking point.
Now add the pointed cabbage and mix everything well. After a few minutes, add the water and leave everything to simmer on a medium heat for about 15 minutes. Keep the lid at a slight angle so that the steam can escape.
Finally, season the hearty mince with pointed cabbage with salt, pepper, mustard and paprika. You can use your own personal taste here. Freshly ground pepper gives the dish a very special touch.
