Homemade mayonnaise
This mayonnaise recipe is so simple and takes about 5 minutes to make. It's much better than the store-bought stuff, and combines well with all kinds of ingredients.

- 1 Egg (room temperature)
- juice of half a lemon
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 pinch salt
- 200 ml sunflower oil

1. Step
Put the egg in a high-walled bowl, then add the salt, lemon juice and mustard. I recommend that you bring the ingredients to room temperature beforehand, as this will help the ingredients to mix better.
2. Step
Once you have added these ingredients, start blending the mixture with a stick blender. It's important to add the oil slowly in a thin stream while you continue to blend. This will ensure that the mayonnaise does not separate.
3. Step
Continue stirring until the mayonnaise is thick and glossy. If it is too thick, add a little water.
