Homemade Traditional Creamy French Dressing
This French dressing recipe yields a tangy, vibrant dressing that amps up the flavor of any salad. It's easy to make and can be stored in the refrigerator for future use.
Ingredients
- 1 Cup of vegetable oil
- 1⁄2 Cup of white or apple cider vinegar
- 1⁄4 Cup of granulated sugar
- 3 tbls ketchup
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1⁄2 medium onion or one shallot, finely chopped
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper

Combine the vegetable oil, vinegar, sugar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, finely chopped onion or shallot, salt, and pepper in a food processor or blender.
Pulse until the ingredients are thoroughly combined and the dressing has a smooth consistency.
