Put the cubed butter in a frying pan over medium-low heat and wait for the butter to melt.

Spoon off all the white foam that comes out, until it is gone. This is a patient process.

Once all the foam has been removed and the butter is transparent and golden in colour, turn off the heat and leave to cool.
