In a bowl, mix the egg with the mustard. This combination will help us create a thick and creamy mayonnaise.

2. Step

Gradually add the vegetable oil, stirring constantly (I recommend using a hand mixer). When you notice the mayonnaise starting to solidify, add the oil a little faster.

3. Step

When the mayonnaise is thick enough, add the vinegar or lemon juice, salt, ground black pepper and ground paprika. Mix thoroughly.

4. Step

Finally, let the mayonnaise sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes for a better flavor result. My experience has shown that mayonnaise is much better when refrigerated.
