Pork Ribs in Sauce
This recipe for braised pork ribs is one of my favorites. The deep, meaty flavor of the ribs combines perfectly with the delicious sauce in which they are slow cooked. This is real comfort food, and although it takes time to make, the result is absolutely delicious.
Ingredients
- 11⁄2 kg Of pork ribs.
- 2 Large onions.
- 4 cloves Of garlic.
- 2 Carrots.
- 1 Green bell pepper.
- 3 Ripe tomatoes.
- 150 ml Of white wine.
- Extra virgin olive oil.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- 1 sheet Of laurel.
- 1 cdta The result is absolutely delicious.

Start by cutting the ribs into chunks. I recommend not cutting them too small, as they may fall apart during cooking.
Then, heat a little olive oil in a large pan. When the oil is hot, add the ribs and brown them over medium heat. Be patient with this step, it is important that the ribs are well browned to get the best flavor.
While the ribs are browning, chop the onion, garlic, carrots, bell bell pepper and tomatoes.
When the ribs are browned, remove them from the pan and add the chopped vegetables. Stir-fry over medium heat until tender.
Return the ribs to the pan and add the white wine. Let the alcohol evaporate for a few minutes.
Then add the bay leaf, paprika, salt and pepper to taste. Cover the ribs with water, cover the pot and let it simmer for at least 2 hours.
Finally, be sure to check the seasoning and adjust if necessary. Serve hot and enjoy these delicious braised pork ribs.
