- 2 units onions, chopped
- 2 cups celery, chopped
- 1 loaf white bread, dried and crumbled
- 1 tablespoon dried sage
- 1 spoon dried thyme
- 1⁄2 spoon salt

Melt butter in a skillet. Add onions and celery and cook until soft.
