Sweet chilli sauce
Sweet chilli sauce is one of my favourite additions to the meal. I like it best with baked chicken strips or as a dip for spring rolls. This recipe is really simple

- 3 Cloves garlic
- 1 a piece paprika
- 100 g sugar
- 50 ml rice vinegar
- 1 Spoon Salts
- 1 Spoon chilli
- 100 ml Waters
- 2 Spoons corn starch

1. Step
Start by cleaning and finely chopping the garlic and peppers. Then blend them in a blender until smooth.
2. Step
Then combine this mixture, sugar, rice vinegar, salt, chili powder and water in a saucepan. Bring to the boil and cook for about 5 minutes.
3. Step
Then add cornstarch dissolved in 2 tbsp water. This is my favorite trick to thicken the sauce and give it the right consistency. Remember to stir constantly so the sauce doesn't burn.
4. Step
Then cook for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens. Then you can let it cool and store it in a sterilized jar.
