Tasty apple jam
Apple jam is a delicious and fresh option to accompany your breakfasts or desserts. A classic and homemade flavor with which you can enjoy apples in a different way, out of the harvesting season.

- 1 kg Of apples (preferably of the Golden Delicious variety)
- 500 g sugar
- 1 Lemon (juice and zest)
- 1 glass Of water

1. Step
Wash, peel and core the apples. Then cut them into small wedges.
2. Step
Place the apples in a large saucepan and add the sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest and water.
3. Step
Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the apples are soft and crumble, and the liquid has reduced and thickened, about one hour.
4. Step
When the jam is to your liking, remove the pan from the heat and let it cool slightly. Then puree the jam using a hand blender until the desired consistency is reached.
5. Step
Transfer the jam to sterilized glass jars and let it cool completely.
