Beetroot cake
A great recipe for beetroot cake that is sweet and fresh at the same time.

- 300 g Raw beetroot
- 200 g Wholemeal flour
- 100 g vegetable oil
- 250 g honey or agave syrup
- 3 pcs Eggs
- 1 bal baking powder
- 1 kl cinnamon
- pinch of salt
- confectionery sugar

1. Step
It is important to wash the beetroot thoroughly before cooking. Then grate it finely. It is best to use a grater with small holes.
2. Step
In a bowl, mix the beetroot with the oil and honey or agave syrup.

Then add the eggs and mix.

In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and a pinch of salt.
5. Step
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the beetroot and eggs and mix thoroughly.

Pour the batter into the cake tin.

7.Bake the beetroot cake for 40 - 45 minutes at 180 degrees.

Before serving, sprinkle the beetroot cake with icing sugar.
